The Art of Roast

Spent time in the roasting shed, teaching our oldest son the art of the roast. We went over the roaster, how to roast, temperatures, times, and how we use our senses to understand the roast process. It was a great time. He journaled times, kept an eye on the changes of the bean, watched the temperatures, and weighed out the beans. We listened to Beautiful Eulogy's instrumentals from each of their albums and just enjoyed each other.

The scent of roasted coffee is heavily interwoven in our clothes.
