Falls Park

After church this morning, the youngest and I took a trip to the Falls Park, located in downtown Post Falls. Post Falls is situated between Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, to the east, and Spokane, Washington, to the west, off of I-90.

The Spokane River flows from Lake Coeur d'Alene, through Post Falls, over the dam and through the Spokane Valley and the heart of Spokane, then connects to the Columbia River, and finally, dumps into the Pacific Ocean.

We walked around, discovering new things and discussing the old. We found a painted rock from the continually growing community known as "Coeur d'Alene Rocks".

The snow on the ground and the chill in the air let us know that Fall is definitely in the air. Winter is quickly coming.
