Faith: Positive Certainty Expressed in Action
What a year 2018 has been for our family! As 2017 was winding down, we started praying about what word God would give us for the new year. Instead of a single word, we felt He gave us a phrase. “Faith: positive certainty expressed in action”. We had already made the decision to sell our house and start our coffee roasting business, but the new year would be the time we had to actually step out and do that. We had to act on the faith that we had that God would guide us in what He had already told us to do. It was scary and exciting all at once.
God has been so faithful to us during this past year. Just this morning at breakfast, our family was discussing what our favorite and least favorite parts of 2018 were. We all agreed that our least favorite part was leaving our home of so many years. But one of the best parts was seeing God so clearly at work in our lives so many times this year. He has been orchestrating our steps, and we’re along for the ride.
God has blessed us with fulfilling our dream of roasting coffee. It was a long time coming, and it hasn’t been easy. But it has been worth it. Thank you to all of you who have supported our business and prayed for us. We’re blessed to have you on this journey with us.
