Boise

Morning breaks. Sun rises. Into the car. Picked up coffee and back towards our destination. Park. Walk. Security. Slung backpacks dropped upon waiting belts. X-ray. Reclaim items and to our terminal. Board. Ascend. Descend. Climb into a rental and another destination reached. Order. Number 1. Sit outside in the frigid Meridian weather as Double-doubles and fries are consumed. We finish and explore. New vinyl acquired. Capital building discovered. Drive to Boise and check-in. Leave. Knitting Factory. Moon rises. Temperatures drop. Employees check IDs and give us green paper bracelets to encompass our wrists. Black sharpies mark Xs on underage attendees. Pass through more security and into a warm, waiting building. Cacophony of sounds and lights pillage the senses. We make our way up to the stage; a short metal rail stops our parade. We wait. Illumination brightens and dulls. Darkness spills and fills; quickly disappears. Minutes pass. Show begins. Bass resonates. Brass reverberates. Guitars resounds. Show ends. Journey back to In-N-Out. Midnight snack of strawberry shakes and fries.

Back to the hotel. Bed. Alarm sounds. Back to the airport.

Home.
